Peter & James are very proud and privileged to have been made Ambassadors for the Childrens Respite Trust. The ambassadors meet quarterly and this time it was held at 4Golf venue in Commercial Road. Eastbourne’s newest indoor golf centre boasting 5 award-winning simulators. Guests were treated to a drink on arrival, a buffet and then a go on the simulators. James had his first ever experience of holding a golf club and amazingly no one was injured during his depute shots. We may have found a new golf champion! 😊.
The charity is one of three we at Ginger & Sanders support.
The Children’s Respite Trust was founded in 2010 on the simple premise that far too many families face unbearable pressures because of the strain of living with the care needs of a child with a significant disability. The charity operates from their centre in Uckfield, East Sussex with a team of eight permanent staff members, who are backed up by a wonderful team of bank staff and volunteers.
We look forward to supporting this charity moving forward.
