James, Lisa and Peter decided to get 2024 off to a racing start by a visit to Plumpton with some business associates and clients. The seven races could be watched from the comfort of the box or beside the racecourse which was rather chilly.
Some of the party got to experience the horses jumping over one of the fences, on the sixth race, which despite the bitter cold was quite exhilarating.
The trip was a first to the racecourse for some, but everyone had an enjoyable day out. There were a few winners, and no one lost their shirt, so a result all round. The food was excellent and washed down with a glass or two. The day finished with a trip to the pub to converse over the day’s events.
