Peter has got his wish at last and throwing Lisa out of a plane (for charity). This was not originally on her bucket list but he added it! 😊. Joking aside Lisa is going to complete a skydive in aid of the Big Cat Sanctuary a charity Peter works at as a volunteer on a Thursday.
The Big Cat Sanctuary is set in the heart of the countryside at Smarden, next to Headcorn Aerodrome where the skydive is due to take place.
The Sanctuary is a centre dedicated to the conservation of wild cats, whose objectives are the welfare, breeding, education and conservation. reference big cats. They play a vital part in saving some of the planet’s most endangered and iconic species from extinction. They are proud to have contributed to the accredited global breeding programmes as well as donating to in-situ conservation projects. The centre offers personal big cat experiences including overnight stays, afternoon teas, photography workshops, ranger days and educational tours.
This is not only a charity close to our hearts but one which is fundamental to ensure the longevity of certain large cat breeds.
Therefore any contribution made no matter the size would not only be appreciated but go towards a great cause and now is more important than ever due to the below current project.
Big Cats in Crisis
The Big Cat Sanctuary’s “Big Cats in Crisis” campaign aims to provide a forever home for five African lions currently housed at Wildlife Animal Rescue (WAR) in Kyiv, Ukraine. There are four lionesses named Vanda, Amani, Lira and Yuna and one male lion called Rori who the Sanctuary looks to bring to their site in Smarden, Kent. We must raise urgent funds to build a rescue centre and safely transport the lions to the UK. Alongside IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare), we plan to evacuate the lions quickly.
Donating today can help fund their transportation cost, keep them fed and warm and build them a brand-new rescue centre specially designed for their needs.
Therefore please can you donate whatever is affordable to:- https://www.justgiving.com/page/lisa-sanders-1710945174051?utm_term=d6VgXWdjb
